Zdrowy Kształt S.C
Zdrowy Kształt S.C is a knowledge-related and health-related organisation that specializes in a comprehensive support of people struggling with a variety of mental difficulties, such as personality disorders, depresive disorders, stress-related disorders, behavioral disorders or anxiety. The mission is to help people find emotional balance, improve their quality of life, and understand and resolve problems that affect daily functioning.
With the use of art theraphy and nature therapy the team implement educational activities individually tailored to individual needs with the main goal of improving self-awareness, building healthy relationships and learning to manage emotions.
In a holistic way Zdrowy Kształt deals with every person who wants to live consciously and in harmony with their own values and beliefs. The institution promote active and healthy lifestyle.
AKTIOS
Aktios is one of the largest Long-Term Care (LTC) organisation in Greece. In 2021, Aktios joined Blocks Group, the biggest LTC provider in Southeastern Europe. Now, Aktios is an active end-user site with a capacity of 235 beds in three (3) Elderly Care Units in the wider Athens Area.
Aktios Units comply to international standards, and provide a ‘home’ for people who desire a more relaxed way of living, for people in rehabilitation, from various health problems i.e. stroke and bone fracture, for people with chronic diseases, Alzheimer’s disease and other types of Dementia, or other neurodegenerative diseases and for elderly people who are in need of medical or nursing attendance and special care.
Alzheimer Association AiR
Alzheimer Association AiR – Alzheimer BiH is the umbrella BH association for combat dementia. It is a member of ADI, AE and WPA. It was founded in 2012 in Sarajevo.
Alzheimer Association AiR represent interest of people with dementia(PwD), families, caregivers, conducts public campaigns to raise awareness about dementia, fight stigma and prejudice in BH society. It organizes campaigns aimed at changing policies related to dementia, so the Strategy for the Fight against Dementia was adopted in the Canton of Sarajevo. It leads a successful campaign developing of BH dementia-friendly society.
Alzheimer Association AiR is a regional leader in the dementia process. Through various activities, it helps the Region keep up with the rest of Europe.
It is the founder of the Center for dementia, which has been operating for 12 years and is still the only institution that deals with all dementia issues through the provision of PwD services such as: diagnosis, post-diagnostic support, education and training, as well as publishing activities.
Foundation Compassion Alzheimer Bulgaria
The mission of the organisation is to improve the quality of life for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia in Bulgaria, by changing the current attitude and practices towards them and providing access to treatment and social support.
The organization is established in 2004 and is a member of Alzheimer’s Disease International. Current activities: provision of innovative social services for families with patients with Alzheimer’s/dementia (legal, psychological consultations, including e-mail and telephone consultations), music-therapy and art appreciation workshops, non-pharmacological methods of prevention, sports activities and table tennis, Alzheimer café, information campaigns for prevention, lobbying for improved services and accessible treatment, trainings of professionals and caregivers.
